G36 Mod benefits a great deal from her neural upgrade. Although she is outclassed in AOE damage by grenade skill ARs and in single-target focus by ROF skill ARs, G36 still performs very well when compared to many of her contemporaries and should generally be considered a priority if an AR slot in an Echelon needs to be filled. Overall, G36 is a powerful flex choice to fill the last slot in any AR-based Echelon, as she has good damage and a strong formation buff for the SMGs slotted in front of her. This is a very powerful buff if G36 is positioned in the top left corner of a F formation or the center left position of a b formation, as it provides both frontline SMGs with a very relevant buff to their DPS. G36’s formation buff is also quite powerful, providing a 10% ROF increase and a 30% Damage increase to SMGs directly in front and diagonally in front and below her. This puts G36’s average damage output in short battles above that of most other ARs, although the damage balance evens out somewhat in more extended fights. The skill’s initial cooldown is also a mere four seconds, which means that it activates and lasts for the duration of most battles. Her strength comes from her Damage Focus T skill, which at maximum rank increases her own damage by 70.0% for ten seconds. There’s also the risk that her skill may not kill an enemy link in one shot before switching to another target, although this risk is significantly lower compared to SAR-21.īeing a limited drop doll means that she’s less accessible than other replacements, however her very unique capabilities and buffs mean that she’s worth acquiring if and when she rolls around again.G36 has very average stats as a whole, with all of her stat caps being somewhere ☑0% from the AR class averages. While she can potentially knock links off of backline units, and her high ROF increases her odds of doing so, random targeting as opposed to RFB and RF’s direct backline targeting mean it’s nowhere near as consistent depending on how many tanks are in the echelon formation. Her random targeting from her skill, Rain of Burial, is both a blessing and a curse. However, her high Accuracy and nearly unmatched ROF during skill uptime brings her potential DPS to the top. While her 55 damage puts her right on the higher end average for her class, it should be noted that in terms of self buffers, she’s only outclassed by 9 others at the time of writing. While her 12% Damage and 20% accuracy may be less than handguns, it’s still worth noting that not only her Accuracy shouldn’t be understated, her buffs aren’t nearly inconsequential as an AR buffing all dolls, and her DPS is nothing to ignore. Being placed on tile 4 allows her to buff effectively any formation she could be placed in, but being put in tiles 1 or 7 is still useful for unconventional formations or with HS2000 in tile 1.
Her unique tile buffs mean she can be placed anywhere on the backline to match whatever formations you may need. Combined with her random targeting, this gives AUG a unique role in supporting other ARs with her aggressive tiles and potentially killing enemy backline links.
She also has very good positioning which gives her a place in a utility role. AUG has a powerful skill which exceeds the ROF cap and randomizes her targeting on the enemy echelon, potentially allowing her to hit enemy backline units.
